How to Lock or Unlock Your UOB Card
Temporarily lock a misplaced UOB debit or credit card in the UOB TMRW app — and unlock it the same way.
Agent guide. Use these steps to walk the client through the process — the screenshots show exactly what they’ll see on screen.
If the client has misplaced a card, they can temporarily lock it in the UOB TMRW app to stop it being used, then unlock it the same way once it turns up — no need to cancel the card.
Before you start
- The UOB TMRW app
- The client's login (or Face ID / Touch ID)
- The card to lock
💡 Tip: Locking is instant and reversible. If the card is lost or stolen rather than just misplaced, report it and order a replacement instead.

Open Accounts
Log in to UOB TMRW and tap "Accounts".

Select the card
Select the debit or credit card you want to lock.

Tap Lock card
Go to the "Services" tab and tap the "Lock card" icon.

Confirm the request
At the prompt, tap "Lock now" to proceed.

Review and confirm
Review the details and swipe right to confirm.

Done
Your card is locked. To unlock it, tap the "Lock card" icon on the card summary screen again.
