This is a LOCAL transfer — sending SGD to another local bank account within Singapore by account number, using FAST. It is not an international or overseas transfer. Transfers to FAST-participating banks arrive almost instantly, up to S$200,000 a day. The steps below walk the client through it in the OCBC app or on OCBC Internet Banking.
Before you start
- The OCBC app, or access to OCBC Internet Banking
- The client's access code and PIN (or fingerprint ID / Singpass on the app)
- The recipient's bank and account number
💡 Tip: FAST transfers to participating banks are almost instant and free, up to S$200,000 a day. The recipient name entered is only a reference — the transfer is processed on the account number, so double-check it. To send to a mobile number or NRIC/FIN instead, use PayNow.
