Exceeds Withdrawal Frequency Limit

What it means

The number of transactions on the card has exceeded the frequency limit the issuer allows over a given period.

Why it happens

Too many transactions were made in a short window, tripping a velocity/count control on the account.

If you’re the cardholder

Wait before trying again, or contact your issuer to review the activity limit.

If you’re the merchant

Treat as a soft decline; avoid rapid repeated retries and try again later.
