PIN Tries Exceeded

What it means

The number of allowed PIN attempts has been exceeded and the card is blocked from further PIN use.

Why it happens

The cardholder entered an incorrect PIN too many times, causing the issuer to lock the card.

If you’re the cardholder

Use another card or contact your issuer to unlock the PIN.

If you’re the merchant

Do not retry; offer an alternative payment method.
