What it means
The card number does not map to a valid issuer, so the transaction cannot be routed.
Why it happens
The card BIN does not match the range of any issuer known to the network, usually because the number was entered incorrectly.
If you’re the cardholder
Check and re-enter the card number, or use a different card.
If you’re the merchant
Validate the card number and prompt the customer to correct it.
