Lost Card
What it means
The card has been reported lost by the cardholder and the issuer has blocked it from further use.
Why it happens
The cardholder notified the issuer that the card was lost, so the issuer rejects all authorizations and may request the card be picked up.
If you’re the cardholder
Use a different card; contact your issuer for a replacement if needed.
If you’re the merchant
Do not retry; present a generic decline to the customer and do not reveal the lost-card reason.
