Invalid Transaction

What it means

The issuer considers the transaction invalid and will not process it.

Why it happens

The transaction is not valid for the account, or the issuer rejected it based on internal rules; it is a general decline.

If you’re the cardholder

Contact your card issuer, or use a different card.

If you’re the merchant

Advise the customer to contact their bank; verify the request is well formed.
