Incorrect CVC
What it means
The card security code (CVC/CVV2) provided does not match the code on record for the card.
Why it happens
The customer mistyped the CVC, or the code does not correspond to the card number entered.
If you’re the cardholder
Re-enter the 3- or 4-digit security code from the card.
If you’re the merchant
Prompt the customer to re-enter the CVC; consider CVC checks in your fraud rules.
