Why it happens
The customer entered a billing address or ZIP/postal code that does not match the card's records.
If you’re the cardholder
Re-enter the billing address and postal code exactly as they appear on your card statement.
If you’re the merchant
Prompt the customer to correct the billing address; decide how strict your AVS rules should be.
